CTC Cable Corporation uses industry recognized transmission and distribution hardware, and manufactures all the required installation components such as compression dead ends, full tension splices, vibration dampers, spacers and spacer dampers, and tangent suspension systems. All recommended hardware for use in installing our ACCC® conductors comes with the backing of full type testing qualification. Lists of recommended and qualified hardware components can be provided by CTC support staff.
All dead end and splice assemblies for CTC Cable's ACCC® conductors are manufactured to meet existing industry standard conductor dimensions. The full range of ACCC® conductor sizes (PDF) all match the outer diameter of their ACSR equivalents, thus hardware does not have to be manufactured to “custom” conductor outer dimensions.
